Eric Damery – Freedom Scientific
Freedom Scientifics' Eric Damery, who is responsible for the Jaws talking software to assist visually impaired computer users, paid a visit to Glasgow's Mitchell Library last month. Field of Dreams
A new centre was recently opened by Deaf Blind Scotland in Lenzie. Specialising in the needs of deaf blind people from all over Scotland, the centre has been in the planning for a long number of years. Peter spoke to the driving force from day one, Drena O’Malley, now retired but still working as a volunteer for the organisation.
