About Us

The Playback Charity ( Number SC001189) was established to facilitate the Playback organisation as a whole and as such, to raise funds to improve the service we provide to our listeners.  In the past we have given money for anything from new cassettes to the digital recording studios our organisation now occupies.  As this is an organisation for the blind, more than 50% of our committee are themselves visually impaired – both men and women. The charity’s work is funded by donations.  We are extremely grateful to all those who have contributed in the past.  We are always pleased to accept donations – no matter how small – it all helps to improve our service.  If you wish to donate please make cheques payable to ‘Playback Recording Service’ and send them to: Playback Recording Service Centre for Sensory Impaired 17 Gullane Street Glasgow G11 6AH Scotland Please note:- Playback is a registered charity.  Our charity number is SCO 01189.
